Medical School

Medical School is long: thousands of lectures, hundreds of students, 50+ exams. But make the most of it, you’ll always miss medical school. Here are some of my tips on maximising your time at medical school.

Ophthalmology

I don’t want to be too biased but if you haven’t considered ophthalmology then let me show you what this career is all about. Medicine, surgery, a great work-life balance, no wards rounds, work with lots of different people, advancing technology. Don’t listen to people who say it’s too competitive. Hard work, planning and motivation and you’ll get your training post.
